Who's behind the game

TECH GOD GAMES, LLC operates TechGodGames, the game studio brand responsible for this website and Culture Check, a Black culture trivia game currently playable in a web browser. This policy applies to those experiences and explains how information may be collected and used when you visit, play, create an optional account, or contact us.

The Apple App Store and Google Play versions are planned but are not yet available. We will revise this policy before launching mobile features that change our data practices.

What information is involved

• Account information: If you choose to sign up, this may include your email address, display name or username, account ID, and information needed to maintain your sign-in session. An account is not required for basic trivia play.
• Gameplay information: Your selected categories, answers, scores, game activity, chips, streaks, leaderboard participation, and similar progress or competitive results when those features are used.
• Technical and usage information: Browser and device type, operating-system information, page or screen views, feature interactions, approximate location derived from an IP address where processed, unique usage identifiers, performance information, and error or crash details.
• Messages you send us: Your email address and any information you include when requesting help, reporting a bug, or sharing feedback.

Some information comes directly from you; other information is generated by gameplay, your device, or tools used to run and improve the service. Please avoid sending passwords, payment card details, or sensitive personal information in support messages.

How we use it

• Provide trivia rounds, account features, scores, progress, leaderboards, and player experiences.
• Understand which features are used and improve gameplay, usability, reliability, and performance.
• Detect, investigate, and fix bugs, crashes, misuse, and security problems.
• Respond to your questions, support requests, and privacy inquiries.

Who may receive information

If you request deletion, we will review the request and delete or anonymize eligible information, subject to applicable exceptions and backup cycles.

Basic Culture Check trivia can be played without creating an account. Signing up is optional and allows additional features such as saving progress or joining competitive experiences.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of account-related information by emailing info@techgodgames.com. Put “Privacy Request” in the subject and tell us whether you want to access, correct, or delete information. We may need to verify that you control the relevant account before acting on a request. Your rights and our response obligations depend on applicable law.

If you have concerns about analytics, tell us in your message. You can also control cookies and local storage using your browser settings. Deleting site data may sign you out or reset locally stored preferences.

What may change

If we introduce advertising, payments, additional analytics, or other features that change what data is collected or shared, we will update this policy and any required app-store privacy disclosures before those features launch. App store operators and payment processors may also have their own terms and privacy notices.

We may update this policy periodically. The effective date at the top of the page will show when the current version took effect.
